What Up Yo.
I know I’ve been gone baby’s, Please don’t be sad.
Daddy has to work, and drive himself mad.
When I created Voices, I wanted to create a commentary show of some sort.
Soon after, I realized it was going to be podcasts we next ventured into…because they’re so fucking cool and it’s the future to be dead honest with you.
on the other side of the globe,
at the exact same moment,
2 very like-minded individuals (My cousin Matt Candela & John Nuzzi… They live 20 minutes away) had already been doing the same thing.
He and brother John Nuzzi took to the airwaves to discuss what inspires them on a week to week basis.
They invited me on to discuss Martin Scorsese with them…
“It Was A Glorious Time.”
Well they invited me back, this time to discuss:
What drove us so fucking mad with passion that they had to create a podcast,
that I had to create a blog,
that we became the TV, film and music fanatics that we are today.
We discussed the topic for months, and decided to just say fuck it,
sit down on the therapists couch,
go into a hypnotic state and go back in time to recall the moments that drove us
in-fucking-sane! (Matt shot me a text on Friday and asked me if I wanted to come by to record on Saturday)
Below is the audio of that second meeting between us, That’ll Play & Voices: FILM…
And from the word go…we spoke nonstop.
When Matt called the show at the end, I thought to myself:
” 30 mins?? Why are we stopping so soon this is a short fucking show.”
It turns out that once again we were there for over an hour.
I hope you enjoy, I had an amazing time, once again.
Stay tuned for the premiere of the Voices: FILM podcast, coming soon where I’ll have Matt and John on my own couch.
A lot of planning has gone into this primarily because I need to figure out a way to douse you all with gasoline through a set of headphones or speakers.
And I think I’ve worked it out,
So until then…listen here and talk hard.
